● 研究兴趣、领域:
本实验室主要利用X射线晶体学和冷冻电镜方法研究细菌磷酸转移酶系统(PTS)的膜蛋白结构。其中甘露糖转运复合物(Man-PTS)是PTS的一类重要成员,负责葡萄糖、甘露糖及多种糖类的摄取。此外, Man-PTS被报道为相关细菌素的作用靶点,其参与或介导了杀菌作用。本课题组已经解析出细菌素作用靶点---大肠杆菌来源的Man-PTS的结构。后续将继续通过晶体学和冷冻电镜等手段研究细菌素与Man-PTS作用后的杀菌机制,并为新型抗菌药物和食品添加剂的设计研发提供思路。本课题组同时探索结构解析过程中的困难问题,发展新的结构分析方法。
